Inklore has acquired ELECEED, a four-volume scroll-to-print comic series from Webtoon! This action-driven webcomic is set in the modern day, where Awakened humans develop elemental superpowers. In this first volume, follow Jiwoo, a cheerful but lonely teen boy who spends all of his time—and money—on cats who meets Kayden, one of the most fearsome of them all...and is a fat orange cat?
Kayden is on the run and hastily has transformed into a cat to lay low. Of course, that's no easy feat when Jiwoo mistakes him as a local stray and takes him home to recover, only to realize that Jiwoo is an underdeveloped Awakened with superspeed abilities. Begrudgingly taking it upon himself to teach Jiwoo the tricks of the trade, Kayden becomes his mentor, but soon enough the pair is embroiled into a larger nefarious plot of secret animal experiments...
Originally in Korean and still running on Webtoon at 359 episodes (347 in English), Inklore’s English volumes of ELECEED are trade paperback originals with full-color illustrations throughout and left-to-right pagination.

P.S. Unrelated to our books, but fun to see the trending ELECEED interest, DandeLion Animation Studio has announced a forthcoming anime adaptation of ELECEED, set to launch in 2026.
